Bring It On The Musical

Grades 6 - young adult

 

Auditions: 

Monday, May 22, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (This is a Cheerleading Audition Only. For those interested in additional roles, you will need to attend the Tuesday or Saturday audition listed below.)

Tuesday, May 30, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturday, June 3, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

(You need only attend one audition. Cheerleading roles will participate in the full production.)

(Audition Location: Mary Cariola Center, 1540 Mount Hope Ave, Rochester, NY 14620)

For the audition, please prepare up to 32 measures of upbeat music. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music. You will also be asked to read from the script. Please also wear or bring comfortable dance attire, as all auditioning will be required to learn a short dance/movement combination. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the designated time to complete the paperwork. Bring a headshot, resume, and conflicts to the audition.

Rehearsals:  July 24 – Aug 4 (Monday – Friday), 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Aug 4, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Performs:  Aug 4 @ 7:00 PM & Aug 5 @ 7:00 PM (2 shows)

(Performance Location: The Norman Howard School, 275 Pinnacle Rd, Rochester, NY 14623)

Synopsis

Campbell is cheer-royalty at Truman High School, and her senior year should prove the most cheertastic — she's been named captain of the squad! But, an unexpected redistricting has forced her to spend her final year of high school at the neighboring Jackson High School. Despite having the deck stacked against her, Campbell befriends the school's dance crew. Together with their headstrong and hardworking leader, Danielle, they form a powerhouse squad for the ultimate competition — the National Championships.

Cost:Cost: $345 (includes cast shirt)

A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to reserve your spot. Balance is due on April 15.

There are no refunds given after the show has been cast.
